Lisa and Jennifer have been making things together since childhood  music, memories, and more recently, something that combines everything they’ve spent their careers building toward.

 

We are creatives at heart, storytellers by nature, and two people who genuinely believe that every organization every brand, every cause, every small business has a story worth telling well.

Lisa brings years of experience as a professional photographer, storyteller, and nonprofit fundraising professional. Jennifer brings deep expertise in web design and marketing strategy. Together, we’ve each spent time in both the corporate and nonprofit worlds, which means we understand the pressures, the budgets, the stakes, and the heart behind what you’re building.

But here’s where it got personal.

We both serve on the board of a Georgia nonprofit working with unhoused youth. Sitting side by side in that work, we kept seeing the same thing: organizations doing incredible, life-changing work but struggling to tell that story in a way the public could see, feel, and respond to. And when they did find marketing support, it often came at a price that simply didn’t make sense for organizations working hard to steward every dollar toward their mission.

That gap is what created The Story Office.

We built this for the nonprofits who need a marketing partner that gets it the mission, the margins, and the meaning behind the work. And we built it for the small businesses whose founders have a real why behind what they do and deserve marketing that actually reflects it.
